Coventry Foundation Lodge is a Freemason's lodge that meets six times a year at Dalecote House.
Our Story
In St. Mary's Hall, Coventry, on Saturday, October 13th 1923 at 3.45pm, Coventry Foundation Lodge No 4543 was Consecrated by The Right Worshipful Bro Col W F Wyley, Past Grand Deacon, Provincial Grand Master, and W Bro Arthur Wright, Past Master of St John's Lodge No 2811 was installed as the very first Master.
The name Coventry Foundation is derived from the Foundation Schools of Coventry, Henry VIII and Bablake.
The First Regular Meeting was held one hundred years ago at the Masonic Hall, Little Park Street, on the 22nd October 1923 and now meets six times a year on the fourth Monday of October through to March.
Many Freemasons have joined the Lodge from Schools throughout the City of Coventry, including King Henry VIII and Bablake Schools.
